Westwing (WEST3) aprofunda prejuízo, que soma R$ 5,3 milhões no 4T20

O e-commerce de casa e decoração Westwing (WEST3) registrou prejuízo de R$ 5,357 milhões no quarto trimestre de 2020, resultado pior que o prejuízo de  R$ 456 mil visto um ano antes. Em 2020, a empresa teve lucro líquido de R$ 11,701 milhões, revertendo o prejuízo de R$ 1,474 milhão em 2019. A empresa é uma das novatas da B3, e abriu seu capital em fevereiro deste ano.

O Ebitda (lucros antes de juros, impostos, depreciação e amortização) da Westwing entre outubro e dezembro ficou negativo em R$ 6,287 milhões, revertendo marca positiva de R$ 1,336 milhão do ano anterior. Em 2020, o Ebitda somou R$ 4,124 milhões, ante R$ 4,738 milhões de 2019. No critério ajustado, o Ebitda no trimestre foi negativo em R$ 3,107 milhões e positivo em R$ 7,487 milhões em 2020.

A empresa comenta que o resultado foi negativo no trimestre em função da estratégia de maior investimento em crescimento, com evolução de 484% nos gastos em marketing, a R$ 4,4 milhões no período, maior agressividade promocional e reforço nas equipes de tecnologia. As despesas operacionais da Westwing entre outubro e dezembro foram de R$ 39,8 milhões, marca 136% maior que o visto um ano antes.

Receita líquida da Westwing subiu mais de 100%

Já a receita líquida da companhia no quarto trimestre foi de R$ 77,4 milhões, alta de 105% sobre o visto um ano antes. Em 2020, o indicador somou R$ 245,3 milhões, alta de 87% sobre 2019. O GMV (valor bruto de mercadoria) entre outubro e dezembro foi de R$ 106,7 milhões, alta de 99% sobre o mesmo período de 2019.

No ano, o GMV foi de R$ 372,6 milhões, incremento de 96% ante 2019. O número de compradores ativos na plataforma chegou a 294 mil ao fim de 2020, alta de 86% na comparação anual.

A Westwing comenta que houve geração de caixa a operação de R$ 33,1 milhões em 2020, aumento de R$ 33,8 milhões na comparação com 2019, oriundo principalmente da evolução positiva de capital de giro. Os investimentos no ano somaram R$ 7,9 milhões, R$ 6 milhões acima do visto no ano anterior.

A Westwing apresentou dívida líquida negativa de R$ 19,1 milhões no final do ano, reforçada por sua sólida posição de caixa, comparada a uma dívida líquida de R$ 900 mil em 2019.
