A Smart Fit comunicou nesta sexta-feira (18) que concluiu o acordo de aumento de capital de R$ 500 milhões com seus acionistas controladores.

Entre os acionistas controladores da Smart Fit estão os fundos istrados pelo Pátria Investimento, com a BPE FIT, também controlada por fundos geridos pelo Pátria. O acordo foi divulgado no final de maio.

O aumento de capital aconteceu por meio da subscrição e integralização de novas ações ordinárias de emissão da Smart, subscritas e integralizadas pela BPE FIT e por um acionista de menos porte da empresa, que colocou em pratica seu direito de preferência. A BPE Fit também adquiriu ações de emissão da Smart Fit de certos acionistas.

“Foi celebrado um novo acordo de acionistas entre alguns acionistas controladores atuais e a BPE FIT, e o controle da Companhia permanece detido pelo mesmo bloco de controle atual”, atesta o comunicado da Smart Fit. A empresa é atualmente controlada pelo grupo Pátria e também pela família Corona.

Smart Fit e t ventures na América Latina

A empresa do Grupo Bio Ritmo que atua em todo o país informou, em meados de setembro, que irá realizar um acordo de t venture com parceiros estratégicos não divulgados.

O objetivo da rede de academias é construir t ventures na América Latina. Desse modo, a rede de academias realizará um aporte inicial de até US$ 600 mil.

Ao todo, a empresa conta com mais de 2,2 milhões de alunos matriculados em sua rede de academias. A marca tem presença em 11 países da América Latina. São eles:

  • Brasil
  • México
  • Guatemala
  • República Dominicana
  • Chile
  • Peru
  • Argentina
  • Colômbia
  • Equador
  • Paraguai
  • Panamá.

De acordo com o CEO da empresa, Edgard Corona, o plano é se expandir o mais rápido possível.

O diretor executivo da Smart Fit acredita que o diferencial do negócio da rede de academias é a consciência de que o mundo muda e cada país possuí sua cultura. “Por isso, temos que mudar o mais rápido que ele. Estar sempre um o à frente e sempre nos transformar de forma ágil”, disse em entrevista ao site “Infomoney”.
