A Ser Educacional (SEER3) concluiu a aquisição da Sociedade Educacional de Rondônia (Unesc) por meio de sua subsidiária, Centro Nacional de Ensino Superior (Cenesup). A operação foi anunciada em dezembro do ano ado, fechada pelo valor de R$ 120 milhões.

A Unesc é mantenedora de quatro faculdades localizadas em Rondônia: a Faculdade de Educação e Cultura de Porto Velho, Faculdade de Educação e Cultura de Vilhena, Faculdades Integradas de Cacoal e Faculdade de Educação e Cultura de Ji-Paraná.

Juntas, as instituições somam 2,9 mil alunos de graduação presencial, 35 cursos de graduação em 3 campi, incluindo 60 vagas anuais de medicina em Vilhena, além de base de cursos da área da saúde (Enfermagem, Psicologia, Fisioterapia, Farmácia e Medicina) e Direito.

Além disso, a Ser Educacional informou que hoje que recebeu correspondência da Cape Ann Asset Management comunicando que os fundos por ela geridos atingiram uma participação relevante, ando a deter 6.560.558 ações ordinárias da empresa brasileira.

O montante representa 5,10%das ações emitidas pela Ser Educacional.

Ser Educacional aprova recompra de ações

No último dia 20, a Ser Educacional informou que aprovou um novo programa de recompra de ações. Segundo fato relevante, a empresa poderá adquirir até 4,939840 milhões de papéis, correspondentes a até 3,8376% do total de ações de emissão da companhia e até 9,09% dos papéis em circulação.

Os ativos serão comprados a preço de mercado, “cabendo à istração da companhia decidir o momento e a quantidade ações a serem adquiridas”. Atualmente, a empresa possui 54,338307 milhões de ações em circulação e não detém ações mantidas em tesouraria.

O prazo máximo para a realização da recompra de ações é de 12 meses, iniciando-se hoje e encerrando-se em 21 de janeiro de 2022.

Última cotação

As ações ordinárias da Ser Educacional fecharam o pregão desta segunda-feira em alta de 1,22%, a R$ 14,89. Enquanto isso, o Ibovespa caiu 2,13%, a 117.517,57 pontos.
