A Raia Drogasil (RADL3) anunciou que o teste piloto do marketplace de saúde deverá começar nas próximas semanas. No mês ado, a rede de drogarias havia anunciado que lançaria seu shopping virtual como tentativa de impulsionar seus negócios.

Em teleconferência sobre resultados operacionais da companhia, a Raia Drogasil informou que os testes da nova plataforma irá iniciar com dois vendedores. No marketplace, a rede de drogarias irá oferecer testes, exames e serviços, como o de telemedicina. Além de produtos ligados à saúde, incluindo alimentação saudável e suplementos.

O movimento ocorre em meio a uma explosão do e-commerce devido às medidas de restrição para conter a disseminação da covid-19. “Nosso marketplace é candidato natural para liderar a vertical de saúde no Brasil”, salientou a empresa.

Na reunião, a empresa também informou que comprou participação no site de pesquisa de preços de remédios manipulados em farmácias pelo país, Manipulaê.

Segundo a rede de drogarias, a compra foi feita por meio de debêntures conversíveis com opção de controle ou aquisição integral. A compra do site está dentro da estratégia de ampliação da área de atuação das lojas da Raia Drogasil.
