A LG Electronics anunciou nesta terça-feira (8), que provavelmente apresentará uma queda de 80% em seu lucro operacional no quarto trimestre deste ano, em relação ao mesmo período de 2018.

Desta forma, a LG Electronics tem estimativa de lucro abaixo do esperado pelos analistas.

A empresa, que é a segunda maior fabricante de televisores do mundo (atrás apenas da Samsung), estimou um lucro de 75,3 bilhões de wons (US$ 67 milhões) no trimestre de outubro a dezembro. Entretanto, os analistas esperavam um lucro operacional de 387 bilhões de wons no período, de acordo com a I/B/E/S Refinitiv.

Desta forma, a receita do grupo deverá apontar queda de 7%, ficando em 15,8 trilhões de wons, informou a LG. Em contrapartida, os analistas estimavam um faturamento de 16,3 trilhões.

A LG Electronics deve divulgar seu balanço financeiro no final de janeiro. Entretanto, a empresa não deu detalhes sobre as operações no quarto trimestre.
