Após receber o seu primeiro investimento, de US$ 10,5 milhões (aproximadamente R$ 42,06 milhões) há seis meses, a Kovi, startup de aluguel de carros para motoristas de aplicativos, receberá um novo aporte. A nova rodada de investimentos será de US$ 30 milhões (R$ 120,14 milhões).

A startup que tem pouco mais de um ano, pretende expandir suas operações. Segundo Adhemar Milani Neto, cofundador e presidente da empresa, até o fim de 2019, a companhia ará a operar no México, além de São Paulo e Porto Alegre onde já está presente.

O investimento, que foi liderado pela Global Founders Capital e considerado alto tipicamente para essa rodada no Brasil, que costumeiramente fica em torno de US$ 5 milhões, contará com a participação dos seguintes investidores:

De acordo com o presidente da Kovi, dentre os novos investidores na atual rodada está um grande grupo mexicano que “abrirá portas” para a companhia. Para liderar a operação, Adan Ramos, que participou das rodadas de investimento na Rappi, foi acionado.

Startup Olist recebe aporte do Softbank

No mês ado, a Olist, startup brasileira que conecta lojistas à plataformas de marketplace, captou um investimento de US$ 47 milhões (R$ 191,73 milhões) do Softbank.

Segundo Tiago Dalvi, fundador da companhia, os recursos captados serão utilizados para expandir sua equipe e aumentar a base de lojistas.

“A proposta é simples, o vendedor cadastra seu produto de forma rápida na plataforma do Olist e logo ele é anunciado em redes como Mercado Livre, Walmart, Americana entre outro players brasileiro”, informa a startup sobre a sua funcionalidade em seu site oficial.
