Huawei lança primeiro celular tri-fold do mundo logo após lançamento do iPhone

A Huawei, gigante de tecnologia chinesa, lançou o Mate XT, o primeiro celular “tri-fold”, a 19.999 yuans até 23.999 yuans (US$ 2.810 – US$ 3.375), poucas horas depois da rival norte-americana Apple lançar o novo iPhone 16 com recursos de inteligência artificial.

O novo telefone da Huawei com três dobras surge no mercado em um momento em que a competição entre as duas fabricantes de smartphones está esquentando.

“O Huawei Mate XT redefine o que um smartphone pode fazer, ao ar a troca perfeita entre os modos de tela única, dupla e tripla”, disse a empresa.

No primeiro semestre do ano, as fortes vendas de aparelhos da marca ajudaram no aumento de 18% no lucro líquido.

A Apple (AAPL34), que oferece a nova linha de iPhones por preços mais baixos (entre US$ 799 e US$ 1.199), não entrou na lista dos cinco maiores remetentes de smartphones na China no segundo trimestre, de acordo com a empresa de pesquisa IDC.

A Huawei, por outro lado, registrou crescimento de remessas de dois dígitos no maior mercado de smartphones do mundo.
