A FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automóveis) anunciou nesta sexta-feira (7) um recall envolvendo 81,7 mil carros.

Os modelos do recall da Fiat são Uno, Novo Palio e Grand Siena, produzidos nos anos 2012 e 2013.

A razão do recall seria ligada a problemas no Airbag. Segundo a montadora, é possível que os Airbag dos veículos tenham se deteriorado em razão de exposição a variações de temperatura e umidade.

Por isso, em caso de batida, eles poderiam levar à dispersão de fragmentos metálicos. Isso poderia provocar graves danos potenciais ou fatais a quem está no carro.

Os donos dos veículos devem agendar visita a uma das concessionárias Fiat. No local, será providenciada gratuitamente a análise, a verificação e, se necessária, a substituição dos módulos dos Airbag do lado do motorista e/ou do ageiro.

Segundo a montadora, o tempo estimado de reparo é de duas horas.
