Foi divulgado nesta segunda-feira, 22 de outubro, o acordo envolvendo a compra da Magneti Marelli, divisão de autopeças da Fiat, pela empresa japonesa Calsonic.

No acordo, a Fiat ira receber 7,1 bilhões de dólares pela empresa que tem atuação em diversos países, incluindo Brasil.

Enquanto isto, a Colsonic deve se tornar uma nova gigante da área com receita anual superior à 15 bilhões de dólares.

Chegando ao patamar da Magna International, Denso e Robert Bosch.

É estipulado que o acordo seja encerrado no primeiro semestre de 2019.

Entre os consumidores das duas montadoras estão principalmente a Nissan e a Chrysler.

Desde 2016, a Calsonic faz parte da gestora de fundo de participação KKR.

O grupo é especializado principalmente na fabricação de sistemas de aquecimento e ar-condicionado.

Enquanto a Magneti Marelli é especializada da produção de faróis e componentes elétricos.

Desde abril deste ano a Fiat já havia anunciado que pretendia se separar da montadora, tornando-a uma empresa independente.
