Economia da Argentina recua 3,5% no 3º trimestre e entra em recessão

O Instituto de Estatísticas divulgou na terça-feira (18) dados referentes à economia argentina. No terceiro trimestre, a queda foi de 3,5% e configurou recessão por ser o segundo trimestre seguido no vermelho.

Os principais setores que puxaram a economia da Argentina para baixo, conforme apurou a AFP, são:

  • comércio: -8,9%
  • pesca: -7,3%
  • indústria manufatureira: -6,6%

Já no acumulado do ano, contabilizando os meses entre janeiro e setembro, o Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) obteve queda de 1,4% na comparação com o mesmo período de 2017.

O recuo foi de 4% no segundo trimestre ante o mesmo trimestre de 2017.

A Argentina enfrenta uma grave crise econômica, que conduziu o governo do presidente Mauricio Macri a pedir auxílio financeiro ao Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI). O empréstimo foi de US$ 56 bilhões.
