Carlos Ghosn está há um semana preso no Japão, o empresário brasileiro é acusado de fraude fiscal e sonegação, no qual ele responder por sonegar R$ 167,4 milhões entre 2010 e 2015, período em que foi presidente da Nissan.

Ghosn era um dos principais nomes da Mitsubishi desde 2016, ano que o grupo ou a ser controlado pela Nissan. O empresário também era presidente da Renault e da Aliança Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.

Na última terça-feira (20) a Renault havia anunciado que manteria Ghosn na presidência. Todavia, o grupo francês criou o cargo de presidente interino para ocupar sua função na empresa, e nomeou Thierry Bolloré para função.

Enquanto a Nissan afastou o executivo da presidência de seu Conselho na última quinta-feira (22).

Há a expectativa para saber como ficará a aliança entre as montadoras. Ghosn era um dos principais responsáveis pela estabilidade da parceria.

A agência japonesa Kyondo News informou que Hiroto Saikawa, presidente-executivo da Nissan, avisou aos funcionários do grupo que o acordo com a Renault “precisa ser revisto”.

Carlos Ghosn era visto, anteriormente, com status de “herói” no Japão, principalmente pelo seu papel na reestruturação da Nissan.
