Segundo analistas do banco norte-americano JP Morgan (NYSE: JP), o Bitcoin precisa voltar a ultraar US$ 40 mil, marca registrada no início deste ano, para então retomar a tendência de alta. Por volta das 14h30 desta segunda-feira (18), a critpmoeda operava com uma baixa de 0,48% nas últimas 24 horas, cotada a US$ 35.817,00.

O relatório assinado pelo estrategista Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou ressalta que o Bitcoin pode ser prejudicado por um eventual êxodo de investidores que seguem tendências — a menos que ultrae a resistência de US$ 40 mil em breve.

Segundo o documento, o padrão de demanda por contratos futuros de Bitcoin e o Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), fundo de aproximadamente US$ 23 bilhões em bitcoins, ajudarão a estabelecer as perspectivas a médio prazo. “O fluxo para o GBTC provavelmente precisaria sustentar seu ritmo de 100 milhões de dólares por dia nas próximas semanas para que tal movimento ocorra”, diz o relatório divulgado na última sexta-feira (15).

Os analistas da instituição também salientaram que o atual momento da criptomoeda se assemelha com o novembro de 2020, com a diferença de que o teto a ser ultraado, à época, era de US$ 20 mil. A forte alta desde então foi sustentada pela grande demanda do GBTC, fazendo com que a tendência de alta se estendesse até a segunda semana deste mês.

Para os especialistas do JP Morgan, caso a cotação da maior moeda digital do mundo não ultrae US$ 40 mil em breve, “os traders que seguem tendências podem propagar a correção da última semana” e que “os sinais de momentum deverão cair até o fim de março”.

Na última segunda-feira (11), o Bitcoin registrou uma forte queda de 22%, logo após bater sua máxima histórica, de aproximadamente US$ 42 mil. Ao longo da última semana, a cotação da criptomoeda variou entre o patamar mais baixo desse período e a resistência de US$ 40 mil.
