Amazon bate valor de mercado de US$ 1 trilhão

A empresa norte-americana Amazon, fundada e gerida até hoje por Jeff Bezos, homem mais rico do mundo, chegou hoje à marca de US$ 1 trilhão em valor de mercado. Essa façanha vem algumas semanas após a Apple ter feito o mesmo, se tornando a primeira companhia de capital aberto dos EUA a atingir um valor trilionário.

A Amazon foi fundada em 1994 e vem se valorizando rapidamente no ano de 2018. Desde janeiro, a empresa acresceu 75% ao valor de suas ações, ou seja, US$ 435 bilhões em valor total de mercado.

Logo após bater o valor de um trilhão, as ações da empresa desvalorizaram levemente, e no momento (13h11) tem uma capitalização de mercado de aproximadamente 993 bilhões de dólares.
