Amazon apoia Audi em modelo de carro elétrico

O SUV Audi e-tron chegará aos Estados Unidos com um custo médio de US$ 75,7 (312,2 mil reais) no ano de 2019.

A Audi entra em no mercado de carros elétricos para concorrer com outras montadoras como, Daimler, Volvo Cars, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz e Volkswagen.

Em entrevista na segunda-feira o presidente da Audi na América, Scott Keogh, disse que espera que a empresa alemã seja a primeira  colocada em vendas de carros elétricos na América no longo prazo.

O papel da Amazon no negócio será de vender e instalar os sistemas domésticos de recarga de veículos aos compradores do veículo e-tron. A empresa deverá entregar o hardware além de contratar eletricista para realizar a instalação do produto na casa do consumidor por meio do Amazon Home Services.

O acordo entre Amazon e Audi é um marco para a empresa de tecnologia que pela primeira vez firmou um acordo deste quilate, além de sinalizar uma nova frente de esforço em expandir o seu alcance.
