A geradora de energia AES Brasil (AESB3) registrou lucro líquido de R$ 35,9 milhões no segundo trimestre deste ano, o que corresponde a um aumento de 286,1% ante os R$ 9,3 milhões anotados no mesmo período de 2022.

“Esses valores refletem a performance operacional e financeira de ambos os períodos, parcialmente compensado pelo aumento da alíquota efetiva de IR/CSLL no 2T23, decorrente da inclusão dos resultados dos novos ativos incorporados ao portfólio em dezembro de 2022, aliado à maior alíquota efetiva aplicável à AES Operações (contabilização de lucro tributável se comparado ao 2T22 e ao 1S22)”, disse a companhia.

A AES Brasil no 2T23 também mostrou Lucro Antes de Juros, Impostos, Depreciação e Amortização (Ebitda) de R$ 347,5 milhões, representando um crescimento de 45,2% no comparativo com igual etapa do ano anterior e elevando a margem Ebitda em 6,9 pontos percentuais (p.p), para 45,5%.

Já a receita líquida da companhia foi de R$ 763 milhões, representando uma alta de 22,9% no comparativo com igual intervalo do ano anterior.

A margem operacional líquida da AES Brasil no período foi de R$ 515,4 milhões, alta de 45,6% ante o mesmo período de 2022.

Os custos operacionais e despesas gerais e istrativas somaram R$ 167,5 milhões no 2T23, 26,2% superior aos R$ 133,0 milhões ajustados pelos efeitos não recorrentes do 2T22.

Já o resultado financeiro da AES Brasil foi negativo em R$ 143,9 milhões no segundo trimestre, elevação de 34,6% em relação às perdas financeiras do mesmo intervalo de 2022.

O índice de alavancagem financeira, medido pela dívida líquida/Ebitda ajustado, encerrou o segundo trimestre de 2023 em 3,28 vezes, queda de 0,67 ponto percentual na base anual.
