Foi divulgada nesta segunda-feira (23) pela revista “Fortune” a lista das 500 maiores empresas dos Estados Unidos. Nesta 68° edição, o topo permanece com as mesmas empresas. A ano de 2021 foi favorável mesmo com a inflação, crise nas cadeias logísticas e a pandemia global, de acordo reportagem do Valor Econômico sobre a relação da Fortune.

O lucro de todas as companhias, juntas, foi de US$ 1,84 trilhão, alcançando um novo recorde — em 2019 esse número foi de US$ 1,22 trilhão. Também foi recorde o lucro por funcionário, que foi de US$ 61.821, superando o de 2018, de US$ 42.884.

Segundo o Valor, em relação ao faturamento, as 500 maiores têm, juntas, US$ 16,1 trilhão – valor recorde também, segundo a revista.

As cinco maiores empresas, que se mantiveram no topo, são Walmart (WALM34), Amazon (AMZO34), Apple (AAPL34), CVS Health e United Health. Em sexto lugar, e tendo subido quatro posições, está a ExxonMobil (EXXO34), apoiada pelo petróleo. O top 10 é completado pela Berkshire Hathaway (BERK34), Alphabet (GOL34/GOL35), McKensson e AmerisourceBergen, nesta ordem.

Algumas petroleiras também aparecem entre as cem primeiras no ranking da Fortune, disparando em relação ao último, motivadas pela commodity, diz o Valor. As companhias aéreas também avançaram: Delta Airlines (DEAI34) ficou em 113°, a American Airlines (AALL34) em 114°e a United Airlines (U1AL34), em 146°.

A Tesla (TSLA34), montadora de Elon Musk, subiu 35 posições na lista da Fortune, para o 65° lugar. A Meta, dona do Facebook (FBOK34), avançou sete posições, no 27° lugar. A Pfizer (PFIZ34), um das maiores fabricantes de vacinas contra a Covid, chegou ao 43° lugar na Fortune.
